- When an external account is linked, you can transfer unlimited amounts of money from the external account to the value of the account. The transferred amount can be used within 5 working days.

How to Enroll in Mobile Check Deposit
Chime determines whether you are eligible for mobile check deposits based on the records of all Chime-branded accounts you control, your direct deposit history, your direct deposit size, and other risk factors. For example, Chime offers Mobile Check Deposit to members who have received at least one direct deposit of $1 or more since June 1, 2021* from one of the following sources:
- Employer or payroll provider
- Gig economy payer via automated clearing house (ACH) transfer or Original Credit Transaction (OCT)
- Government benefits
